About

A practice shaped by systems and curiosity.

Hakan Türel brings an engineering background and entrepreneurial experience to software, digital products and applied AI, with a parallel involvement in art and collecting.

Hakan Türel has a background in computer engineering and was educated at Lycée Saint Benoît and Işık University. His professional experience spans corporate work, including Yıldız Holding, business ownership and entrepreneurship.

His current focus is TÜREL.IO, where his work brings together software products, product strategy, digital systems and applied AI. His interest extends from what a product should do to how it is built and used. The business context matters as much as the technical design.

He approaches technology through the relationships between systems, tools and the people who use them. He favours tools that make work clearer and support better decisions. Applied AI is part of that approach, helping with research and practical tasks while keeping human judgment visible.

In parallel, he is involved in TÜREL ART, with a focus on art, antiques and collectibles. His interest in objects is also an interest in context: their histories, the information around them and what careful looking can reveal. Research informs that understanding without replacing the encounter with the object itself.
